Unique hand built ceramic objets (This is for a piece with two separate elements) - the smaller piece is a removable element. Display them on the mantelpiece, on top of books or stack them up with your favourite objects. These are individually hand-built hollow clay pebbles, each is uniquely different in shape, size and pattern. Made entirely of stoneware clay, mixed with 2 or 4 different kinds of naturally coloured clay, bisque and glaze fired finally over 1200°C.

The larger piece can be used as a ‘Soliflore’ - singular bud / small vase in French.

The patterns are made with a technique that is best known for its Japanese term ‘Nerikomi’. In English, it’s acknowledged with either the term ‘Agateware’ or ‘Jasperware’. In French, it’s ‘Neriage’ or simply ‘terres mêlées’.

The finish in all of them is Matt with a very subtle thin glaze (barely visible) on each and every one.
